A FIDE-rated Swiss open across two rating categories, ten rounds, five days in Gampaha.
The Queenstar Open returns for its fourth edition — a FIDE-rated international championship organised by the Queenstar International Chess Coaching Academy. Over five days, players from across the region meet over the board for ten classical rounds, with blitz and rapid side events alongside.
You'll play ten rounds of Swiss-paired classical chess. Category A is for players rated 1701 and above; Category B is for players rated 1700 and below, including unrated players. Age-group, team and special prizes run across both categories.
