Awarded to boys and girls separately in each age group. Top three in each group receive a trophy and medal.

4th–20th places are awarded an internationally recognised Indian chess set (board, pieces & bag). Conditions apply.

Team prizes

Team standings are decided by the top 5 individual scores from an organisation. Two sectors compete separately. Team prizes are trophies and medals — players also keep any prizes they win in the main lists.

Inform the organisers before Round 3. A minimum of 3 players from the same organisation (CSO/HEI) is required; an organisation may claim only one team place and cannot represent both sectors. Team prizes are awarded after tie-breaks.

Blitz & Rapid

FIDE-rated side events with separate entry. The prize structure below applies to each event — Blitz (3 min + 2 sec) and Rapid (10 min + 5 sec).
